🔼 Tamed The Stangs. The Spartans got the huge 59-3 victory over Cal Poly on Saturday. Kairee Robinson ran for 124 yards and two touchdowns! Quali Conley also got two rushing touchdowns for his first as a Spartan. Matthew Coleman had a 75-yard punt return for a touchdown, something that hasn’t happened since 2018. Quarterback Chevan Cordeiro is now just 27 passing yards away from 10,000 for his career after throwing for 205 and two touchdowns.

🔼 Ran The Road. The volleyball team handled business on Saturday with a 3-1 win over the UTSA Roadrunners. Blaire Fleming led the way with 19 kills while Alessia Buffagni anchored the defense with 22 digs. The Spartans will play four matches this week, beginning on Tuesday.

🔼 Flying By. The women’s soccer team flew by the Southern Utah Thunderbirds in a 4-0 win yesterday. Bella Flocchini and Taylor Phillips had two goals each. Shayla Sugai made her 2023 debut and made five saves. Four goals is the most the Spartans have scored in a match since 2016. They’ll be back in action on Thursday when they host Cal Baptist.

⚔️ ONE BIG THING

The men’s golf team finished in third-place overall at the Pan-Pacific Collegiate Championship in Japan. Carl Corpus finished ninth individually after shooting 1-under-par in the final round. They’ll be back in the States for the Husky Invitational at Washington next week!
