📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Viva, Las Vegas. It’s Mountain West Tournament time for the men’s basketball team! The Spartans are the 10-seed and will take on 7-seed Colorado State in round one. Tip-off is today at 1:30 pm at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. You can tune in on the Mountain West Network or listen on KTRB 860 AM.

🔼  Double Trouble. Spartan gymnasts reel in Mountain West weekly honors, once again! Lauren Macpherson was named the Gymnast of the Week after scoring a season-high 39.500 in the all-around, the fourth-best all-around score in school history. She also won her sixth all-around title of the year. Jaudai Lopes earned Floor Specialist of the Week after scoring a career-high 9.950.

🔼 Playing In The Sand. Beach volleyball is playing two duals at Pacific today at 2 pm. The Spartans split Saturday’s duals against San Francisco when Shirley Morrison and Jaena Bell went 2-0. The Spartans hold a 2-5 record, while Pacific sits at 0-7.

🔼 Jenna’s Jives Dives. Spartan diver Jenna Jagielski is competing at NCAA Zone E Diving Championships this week! On Monday, she placed 25th in the 1-meter dive — beating her score from last year by 13.10 points. Yesterday, she placed 23rd in the 3-meter dive with a score of 257.65, 27.50 points more than last year. She’ll participate in the platform dive today, beginning at 10:30 am.

⚔️ ONE BIG THING

Myron Amey Jr. received honorable mention for the All-Mountain West Team from the coaches and the media. MJ led the Spartans and was fifth in the conference in scoring with 16.5 points per game in conference play. He ranked second in the conference in 3-point percentage and 3-point’s made.

The Western Intercollegiate, one of the premiere college golf tournaments in the country, is back for its 77th edition, April 15-17, at Pasatiempo Golf Club in Santa Cruz. Six of the top 10 golfers in the world are Western Alum, including #1 Scott Scheffler. 

There are numerous volunteer opportunities, including:

• Spotter for Golf Channel

• Event Staff / Operations Crew
