Good morning, Spartan Fans! The water polo team had a huge upset against a ranked opponent, and the track and field team posted multiple first-place finishes.

📈 STOCK UP

🔼  Top Finishes. The track and field team competed in the Stanford Invitational and the Brutus Hamilton Invitational. On day one, three athletes posted personal best times, and Tyson Bonilla finished first in the men’s long jump. On day two, multiple Spartans finished first in their events. Alyssa Bean earned two first-place finishes in the 400m and 200m dash.

🔼  Ranked Win. The No. 15 water polo team beat No. 10 Indiana 10-8. Rose Jensen scored four times, and Darcy Spark scored the game-winning goal with 1:53 left in the match. This is the team’s second consecutive time upsetting a top-10 opponent.

Once again, the Western Intercollegiate Presented by Titleist will be broadcast live on the Golf Channel, April 14-16, from Pasatiempo Golf Club. There are several opportunities to be involved in the longest-running men’s collegiate golf championship in the US including walking scorers and Golf Channel spotters.
